Broward Health Announces New Medical Office Buildings (MOBs) in Fort Lauderdale and Deerfield Beach

Broward Health unveiled plans for two new state-of-the-art MOBs and a multi-level parking garage. One is the Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale. The other will be the Broward Health North in Deerfield Beach. Broward Health New MOBs will open in 2027. This major expansion marks the healthcare system’s first new construction in 25 years. It reflects its long-term commitment to expanding access to high-quality care across South Florida.

Designed by The Beck Group in collaboration with DMZ Architects, the new facilities will prioritize flexibility, scalability, and patient-centered design. The Fort Lauderdale MOB will total approximately 188,000 square feet across eight floors. The Deerfield Beach location will span 114,000 square feet over six floors. Together, the buildings will support a wide range of specialties, including cardiovascular care, neuroscience, orthopedics, primary care, women’s services, and future specialty growth.

In addition, the Broward Health Medical Center will have a 300,000-square-foot parking garage with approximately 700 spaces to enhance accessibility and improve the patient and staff experience. Inspired by the Deerfield Beach lighthouse, the architecture will blend modern healthcare design with South Florida’s coastal character.

These new MOBs will support Broward Health’s growing physician network. Ultimately, the physician network will streamline operations through standardized clinic layouts and meet the evolving healthcare needs of the community.
